Hi, I’m Sharyl, 33, from the Philippines, now living in Germany since September 2023 for study. I speak Tagalog, English, and a bit of German (A2 level).

I have 10 years of experience caring for my nieces and nephews (newborns to 10 years old), helping with homework, play, and chores. Currently, I am babysitting my 2-year-old nephew when his mom, my sister, is away. I have a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and am a Fitness Personal Trainer, focusing on healthy food choices and physical activities.

I’m studying for a BA in Gender and Diversity and work part-time at a bakery as a cleaner. I also teach group exercise classes and act as the Head of the Sports Department – AStA (student committee) at Rhein-Waal University. My life in Germany is divided into studying, working, organizing sports events for students, volunteering with UNICEF, and babysitting my 2-year-old nephew and 10-year-old niece.

I started working with children at 11 as a volunteer babysitter in our Sunday School Church. Since then, I’ve been active in teaching and coaching children in nutrition education and fitness. My sister, who is studying for a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, has also taught me a lot about child development.

I love traveling, discovering new places, cultures, and food. My hobbies include working out, dancing, walking in nature, cooking, and organizing. I’m honest, active, patient, organized, easygoing, creative, sympathetic, funny, and joyful.

Additional information:
For transparency, I am holding a student visa. For me to be able to work full-time, I will need a visa sponsorship to get a full-time work permit. I am willing to start from March 11 and plan to stay for 6-12 months.
